The #1 thing I didn't know I was going to do today...

...having to take Jocelyn to the doctor to have a raisin removed from her nose. It was stuck up so far, they decided they had to send me to an Ear/Nose/Throat specialist to have them remove it. Then, at the last second, all the poking and prodding made her sneeze which dislodged it enough to allow them to access it.
The life of the mother! :)

Next time try a straw to suck it out. Worked like a charm when Caitlin had a pea up her nose.

I just can't help commenting on Chelsy's comment. I love my kids but I'm not sure I would have been comfortable SUCKING OUT THEIR NOSTRILS with a straw. Guess I'm one of those BAD moms...

Yeah, I agree Sandi...snot soup doesn't sound so tasty. But I'm not sure if it would work anyway because the raisin was so far up you couldn't even see it! But Chelsy, I will keep that in mind. However her life has been threatened if she trys that stunt again so I shouldn't be needing that method! :)

Makes me laugh, yet cringe. How in the world did it get up so far?

Well, I must add that Matt was the one who sucked the pea out of Caitlin's nose. And she wasn't snotty. :)

It's never boring being a parent, is it?
