When I informed the girls today that we were going to do something very special tonight, I didn't get the response I was thinking I would get.
Sam and I are going to start a family tradition during the Christmas Season of bundling the girls up one night, taking them to Starbucks to get a hot chocolate and then head to the live drive-through nativity seen as well as drive around Yakima to look at Christmas lights.
So after descibing in detail what our evening was going to consist of, Jenna replied, "Um mom, I don't want hot chocolate. I would rather have Root Beer."
Now does that seem very "Christmas-like?"

No, root beer is not Christmas-y!
We did the same thing (no live nativity here though) and went on the lights tour but I just handed Ryan his hot-chocolate as we got in the car. No choices here!
Sounds like a fun family tradition!
