The girls and I went with my mom and dad to visit all off my mom's family in Alabama. There were lots of toys and kids to play with, so the trip completely exhausted the girls, but they had a great time.
This was Jenna's 4th time on an airplane and she has consistently been an excellent traveler! Jocelyn, however, will never accompany me on an airplane again! Let's just say that the extreme screaming, stare-downs by passengers, and a confronting by a policeman in the airport, ended my desire to travel with her!

None of our kids have ever been on an airplane and after reading your story I'm not going there any time soon. What did you do while Jocelyn was screaming?!?! I bet you wanted to cry too. Super mom of the week award goes to you!
Jenna has been 4 times...never a problem! This was Jocelyn's 2nd time (her first at 9 months,) What did I do while she was screaming? I cried! My mom and dad tried consoling me which made it worse. I tried to give her WHATEVER she wanted...root beer, chocolate, stickers, playdough, paper and pen...anything, and I had a lot of options with me. NOTHING worked. She was mad and in pain, and there was noone or nothing that could help. People were staring and I felt completely uncomfortable. I handed her across the aisle to my mom and the flight attendant announced OVER THE INTERCOM TO THE WHOLE PLANE, "Mam with the toddler, you cannot pass her across the aisle!" I was mortified!
Then, after she fell asleep on the floor, a different flight attendant came and told me that having her on the floor was very unsafe and not allowed. I pretended to pick her up, and as he walked away, I sat back up and left her there. Bad girl huh? The people around me laughed and then told me when he was coming by again so that I could avoid eyecontact.
