When we bought our house last summer, we were glad to know that there wasn't much to do to it to make it our "home." We knew that we wanted to do some painting, and put in a dog run, but for the most part, the house was perfect. Except for the fact that not many of the windows in the house open up. Minor right? Actually, they are very nice quality windows that have a reflective coating on them that make it very private. And we really like the looks of them, however,we also really like fresh air!
Our kitchen and kitchen nook have 5 windows total, 1 of which opens. And our bedroom has a door to the back patio, but no window. Crazy huh? Anyways, the point of the story is: our good friend Frank came and put some in for us this past weekend. Sam helped him replace 2 windows in the kitchen nook and actually added one to our bedroom. It is so nice to have the extra light in our bedroom now!
